Export To iPod

You can use iNotePad to export some or all of your notes to a connected Apple iPod.

Note: The Export to iPod feature is only available for "3rd Generation" iPod models (with Dock Connector), using iPod Software 2.0 or later.

When exporting, the notes will be saved as .txt files in the Notes directory of the iPod. Thus, styles and pictures will not be visible. Moreover, notes larger than 4 Kb will be split.

To export your notes, your iPod must be set to support "disk use":

1. Connect an iPod to your computer
2. Open iTunes
3. Select the iPod in the Source list
4. Click the iPod Options button at the bottom of the iTunes window
5. Ensure "Enable disk use" is selected

In iNotePad, select the File > Export to iPod menu item, and specify the following options before clicking "Export":

• Notes To Export: Select whether you want to export just the selected item(s), or the entire database
• iPod Available: Select a connected iPod
• Export To Folder: Select the destination path on the iPod where you would like to export your notes
• The Empty folder before exporting checkbox allows you to empty the destination folder before exporting your notes
